WHO WE ARE

Building LaPorte's Soccer Future, One Player at a Time

"At the heart of the Club are the hardworking and resilient people of LaPorte."

LaPorte Futbol Club was founded in November 2021 when fourteen community members came together with a vision: to reorganize and revitalize youth soccer in LaPorte. We saw kids with untapped potential, families seeking quality athletic opportunities, and a community that deserved better.

In just four years, we've grown from an idea into a thriving organization serving over 450 young athletes and their families. We are a 100% volunteer-run 501(c)(3) non-profit, governed by a dedicated board of directors who believe deeply in soccer's power to transform lives.

Our Philosophy

Our work is personal development—soccer just happens to be our context. Through the game, we teach discipline, teamwork, resilience, and leadership. We help kids learn to take risks, handle success and failure, and push through discomfort.

When a child plays at LaPorte FC, their life is better that day, in that moment. Their fitness improves. Their confidence grows. They feel joy in belonging, in learning, in running freely on a field. It's one of the simplest and most universal activities—kicking a ball—and yet its effect on a child's life is profound.

A 25-Year Project

When people ask what we're building here, we sometimes say: this is a 25-year project. That long view changes everything. It invites patience. It insists on quality. It helps us resist the pressure to chase short-term wins at the cost of long-term values.
